Everything you need to know about our laser machines, certifications, shipping, support, and ordering process.
Laser cleaning uses a focused laser beam to remove contaminants — rust, paint, grease, oxide layers, or coatings — from a surface without mechanical contact or chemical solvents. The laser energy is absorbed by the contaminant layer, which vaporizes or ablates away, leaving the underlying substrate clean and undamaged. Pulsed laser cleaning is ideal for precision work on sensitive surfaces, while continuous wave (CW) systems offer higher throughput for heavy-duty industrial applications.
Yes. All KELION machines sold through Laser Machine Store carry CE (Conformité Européenne) certification for the European market and comply with FDA laser product performance standards (21 CFR 1040) for the US market. These certifications confirm that the machines meet international safety and performance requirements. Certification documentation is available upon request for any machine.
All machines include a 1-year parts warranty covering manufacturing defects and component failures under normal operating conditions. Consumable items (nozzles, lenses, protective glass) are excluded from the parts warranty but are available as spare parts at competitive pricing. Our US-based support team handles all warranty claims and can source replacement parts quickly from our domestic inventory.
All machines are built to order and thoroughly tested before shipment — we do not stock pre-built inventory. Lead times vary by model and configuration; contact us for a current estimate before ordering. Machines ship via international freight, fully crated and packed for safe transit. Liftgate service is available for locations without a loading dock. We provide full tracking information once your shipment is in transit.
We provide US-based support including: setup documentation and operation manuals, technical guidance by phone and email, spare parts sourcing, and warranty coordination. Our team can be reached at info@lasermachinestore.com or (973) 542-5326. For complex technical issues, we can coordinate directly with the Kelion engineering team.
Power requirements vary by machine type and wattage. Most handheld units (up to 2000W) operate on standard 220V single-phase power — the same as large appliances and HVAC equipment. Higher power systems (2000W–6000W) typically require 220V three-phase power. All machines include a power requirement specification sheet. We recommend consulting a licensed electrician before installation to confirm your facility's electrical capacity. US-standard plugs and power configurations are included.
Pulsed laser cleaning delivers laser energy in short, high-peak-power bursts. This is gentler on the base material and ideal for precision cleaning, delicate surfaces, or applications where substrate integrity is critical — such as thin metals, molds, and aerospace components. Continuous wave (CW) cleaning delivers a steady, uninterrupted laser beam at high average power. CW systems offer much higher cleaning throughput and are preferred for large-area industrial cleaning, ship hulls, and heavy rust removal where speed is the priority. For most industrial users, we recommend pulsed for precision and CW for speed.
Our laser systems serve a wide range of materials and industries. Metals: carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, titanium, and exotic alloys. Non-metals: acrylic, wood, leather, rubber, ceramics, glass, and plastics. Industries: automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, oil & gas, manufacturing, construction, food processing, medical devices, jewelry, electronics, HVAC, and signage. If you're unsure whether a laser solution fits your application, contact us — we can recommend the right machine type and configuration.
Pricing shown on our site is the starting "From" price for the base configuration. Final pricing depends on the wattage selected, included accessories, and any custom configurations required. All machines include: the laser unit, standard accessories pack (nozzles, protective glasses, spare lenses), and operation manual. Extended warranty coverage is available — contact us for details. We do not charge surprise fees — your quote is your final delivered price. Contact us for a firm quote on any machine.
